In force from 2026. These terms cover everything published at clipperbench.com, and anything you buy here.

Scope

ClipperBench publishes research-based guides about hair clippers and trimmers as machines: symptom-based troubleshooting, blade alignment and sharpening, oiling and maintenance, batteries and motors, and cross-brand blade and guard compatibility for home barbers. The content is informational. We hold no licence in any regulated field, and nothing here is professional advice for your particular situation.

Accuracy and change

What was true when a guide was written may not be true today: prices move, models are discontinued, features are added and removed. We update pages when we notice, but the responsibility for checking a detail that matters to you — price above all — stays with you. Corrections are welcome through our inbox at [email protected].

What our claims rest on

We work from published specifications, official documentation, pricing pages and publicly available user feedback. We do not claim hands-on testing we have not done, and we do not invent statistics, ratings or testimonials. What cannot be verified is left out.

Paying for a guide

Our guides are digital documents. Buying one licenses you personally to read and use it; it does not let you resell, republish or pass on copies.

The sale is handled by our payment processor on behalf of Fieldnote Guides — that is who you are paying, and the name your receipt carries. Your bank shows the charge as FIELDNOTE GUIDES, not as the name of this site. Card details never reach us. Access is immediate: once payment clears the document opens on its own private link. Refunds covers the case where it does not.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on our content. Nothing here limits a right of yours that cannot be waived.

Updates to this page

These terms can change — the version date at the top tells you when they last did. United States law governs them.

Our content

The text and images we produce are ours. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Republishing whole articles, or feeding them wholesale into a product of your own, is not covered by that.
